* Piracy Of Software means making of illegal copies of software on witch the user has no copyright or any other right.

* The protection of the rights on new discoveries as well as written and artistic products comes under Intellectual Property Rights.

* Patent means the right provided by the state for a particular period, to a individual or institution, with respect to a particular discovery, invention, written or artistic product. Under this any other person can't edit, sell or distribute a product covered by patent.

2. Copyright :-
* Copyright is the right of the author to copy, print and market his or her material.

* This provides protection to the original copy of dramas, music, and artistic products, print products, taped sounds, films, broadcasts and computer programmers.

* Only the individual with the right to copy can market, reproduce and distribute the copied software.

* The consent of the author with the copyright, should be obtained to transmit software through telecommunication channels or to be copied for exhibition to the public.

* Above conditions also relevant with the material that transmitted over the internet or stored on servers and copied, or material that provided to other media.

* Passing off the products such as software, hardware, electronic document or some other person's thoughts and ideas, as ones own.

* These which are protected against copy, belong to the category of intellectual propety.
